Type of Religion
Most Nicaraguans are Roman Catholics, but some are Protestants (main two religions). A small percentage of Nicaraguans are Atheist.
Major Beliefs and Behaviors
Nicas are monotheistic and believe in the same God. They believe in the Trinity, The Bible's word/inspiration, and the divinity of Christ. They have many of the same Christianity beliefs and believe that the afterlife is in Heaven.
Impact On Other Elements Of Culture
Religion impacts their traditions and holidays because some of their holidays/traditions are based off of and celebrate their religious beliefs. Also, it affects architecture from creating the colonial buildings used for worship.
